Jonathan Bowden: The Speeches, A Collection of Talks Given at the London New Right

IN light of the huge interest generated by our previous book on Jonathan Bowden, published as Volume Nine in the Thoughts & Perspectives series, Black Front Press has decided to issue a collection of speeches that were addressed to the New Right between 2006 and 2011. The talks, some of which have now been transcribed by a handful of those who were fortunate enough to attend the London-based events prior to Jonathan's untimely death in March 2012, are informative, passionate, dynamic and often very funny, each revealing the full extent of the man's oratorical excellence, great intellectual bearing and uncanny ability to speak without notes on a whole range of philosophical and cultural topics. The speeches on offer in this superb collection include discussions on William Butler Yeats, Savitri Devi, Ezra Pound, Marxism and the Frankfurt School, George Orwell's Nineteen Eighty-Four, Howard Phillips Lovecraft and Martin Heidegger. Here, at last, for posterity, are Jonathan Bowden's inimitable thoughts and elucidations.

December 2012, Black Front Press, paperback, 170pp. Cover designed by Jeff Harrison.
